The F.C. is constantly working on projects to benefit all facets of the Valley of Asheville and its programs. Below you will find various ongoing or upcoming projects. We may even display polls for the general public and SR members to answer that will tailor the outcome of a particular project to the needs or likeness of the community. You may notice lately, the emphasis we are placing on our building fund in many of these fundraisers. Acquiring our own facility, once again, will provide us with much needed space to host further fundraisers and events that are beneficial to the surround communities.

GoodSearch.com
Normally GoodSearch is used as a discretionary fundraiser for the F.C. with it's profits going toward Scottish Rite programs of it's choosing as well as toward supplies needed to properly facilitate any and all fundraisers. However, this year (2010) the F.C. is focusing 90 percent on the Scottish Rite Building Fund and 10 percent will be discretionary. GoodSearch pays the Asheville Scottish Rite approximately once cent for each search performed. Results of the search are powered by Yahoo and provide the exact same search results as Yahoo.com would. Searching using GoodSearch.com is free to the user. Please help us out by going to http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=902702 for all your search queries.
Utilikilts.com
Ever wonder why our branch is called the 'Scottish' Rite? No one is quite sure but one theory includes Mary Queen of Scots' (Clan Stuart) exile to France having something to do with it, since the degrees originated from France but they were based on legends that came from Scotland. As the Scots have their masonic tartan, Americans have become quite attached to the utilikilt. Brothers of the Valley may have noticed them being dawned at the occasional reunion as they provide the additional air conditioning and freedom that is required in the many positions of a theatre worker. Being in Asheville it's not uncommon to spot a Utilikiltarian walking down the street. This fashion statement can be yours and supports the Asheville Scottish Rite through it's Associates program.
50 percent of the profits will benefit the Asheville Scottish Rite Building Fund, the other 50 percent is discretionary to the F.C. Your can peruse the selection or order your Utilikilt at www.utilikilts.com/store/freemasonry.
